The “ah-ha” moment that came for me was realizing that the grounds needs more help understanding the environmental impacts of their job in order to put in place these practices. Education is key in implementing new ideas and tools. People can use the tools but not understand the impact they have and why it is important. The other moment was realzing the obstacles that the schools face in trying to change over to be more sustaiunable.

Many schools want to be sustainable but do not have the proper resources and many times up front costs are what stops the universities from doing so. Problems that need to be faced are lack of education, allocating money to become more sustainable and focusing on a sustainability plan.
