MLA format is standard. Coming into English 110 I already knew how to cite properly. I had to learn in high school how to write in MLA format for essays and projects. This helped me in English 110 because it was more of a refresher than learning. I personally like MLA format, but it is because it organizes information well. Citing work is very important because this is giving credit to the people who build up your point and help you achieve a good essay. Without properly citing people and resources, it becomes illegal to have their work in your essay. This is not ideal, so citing sources is critical. In my final draft, you can see that my sources are double spaced, include all the necessary information and is clear and concise. Including a works cited page, citing the information  properly within your essay is also important. This helps a reader understand where your words stop and another’s begins.
