English 110 has helped me apply active reading skills to other classes. Not only am I finding myself rereading passages, but I am also finding more information than before when rereading. Being able to find information and pull it out to use it in your own work is essential for writing a paper. Being able to do so in an effective manner helps write the paper effectively as well. The writing process is recursive, it never is truly done and your words can be written over and over again and always can be changed. Finding your voice and making the words matter that you write to your reader is what good writing is all about. Being able to use the skills in English 110 in other writing can make more effective papers in all classes. Even classes like biology would benefit from the writing process taught in English 110 because you need to have the say attention and skills for the papers written in different classes.
